E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center

A remarkable environmental education center nestled within the 55,000-acre Nokuse Plantation conservation preserve — the largest privately owned conservation land in the Southeast. Named for renowned biologist Dr. E.O. Wilson, the center sits in the heart of the longleaf pine ecosystem and welcomes visitors to explore interactive exhibits, wildlife observation, nature trails, and summer day camps. Home to bobcats, bald eagles, snakes, and birds of prey.
