Arcadia Homestead

A fascinating historic homestead adjacent to the Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, preserving the rebuilt 1935 farmhouse of the Simpson family who were integral to the mill’s history. UWF archaeologists continue to work on the site, and visitors can tour the home and outbuildings while learning about rural Florida life from the 1850s to the 1950s.
