Okaloosa Island Pier

A beloved fishing pier stretching into the Gulf of Mexico with a modest $2 walking fee. Regularly packed with anglers reeling in Spanish mackerel and more, it’s also a prime wildlife-watching spot — dolphins, sea turtles, tiger sharks, and friendly great blue herons are all regular visitors. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
