Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park
A stunning 357-acre state park on the shore of Rocky Bayou, a pristine aquatic preserve. Transformed from a WWII gunnery range, the park is now shaded by towering 300-year-old longleaf pines. Visitors enjoy three hiking trails, biking, kayaking, swimming, saltwater fishing, picnicking, and 42 camping sites. Annual events include Pioneer Day in November and Estuary Day in May.
